My School of Thought
I am passionate about achieving excellence regardless of the subject or medium. My personal philosophy is "Whatever I choose to do, I will do it well." This has applied to every project I have attempted since my youth.
This point of view has lead me on an exciting educational and occupational journey. I believe education is a process of careful instruction and unrestrained self-discovery. My schooling and experience have taught me that I can learn to do anything, if I'm willing to invest the effort.
I am a cross platform learner. The diversity of my interests has improved my ability to generalize what I learn. While I studied Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, I practiced sound recording and music, finding the links that connect these disciplines. While earning a masters degree in Instructional Technology, I found application to my studies in video production, web design, and marketing.
As a scientist and an artist, I love to study the technical details of a job, then implement that knowledge according to my own aesthetic sensibilities.
What I do best: I am a dancer, singer, painter, photographer, designer, sound engineer, voice-actor, craftsman, teacher, father, and husband. I enjoy being busy, but find joy in the peaceful moments I have with my family. No matter what I do, I will never stop learning.
